Welcome to Earthwalkabout.com – otherwise known as my junk drawer. The pages of this website are an ever-evolving look into my world. I hope to impart beauty and knowledge, musings and gripes as I stumble through life. Travel is the main thing that fuels this site along with the various interests in my life such as photography, writing, camping, and food and wine. This website allows me to file away things I have learned for later reference and share them with y’all. Like I said, my junk drawer.

I like to take pictures and so my pictures now have a landing place and the images can be seen in the blog posts and on the Photography page. Along with my wife Julia, I like to travel and so you will see the occasional travel article or dialogue posted here. The Vagabond Wino page will allow me to relate some of the wonderful places we have visited in various wine travels throughout the world. The Literature page will carry some of my favorite travel and wine quotes along with other things related to the written word. More junk and certainly new junk to follow.

This is very much a work in progress and I expect it will always be that way so I hope to under promise and over deliver by telling you to expect little and hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised. If you came upon this by accident – then welcome. More likely you are someone I shared a link with and you started poking around a bit and so thanks for looking.
